Personal Wellness Coaching
As your Personal Wellness Coach, I strongly believe in your capacity to change as well as your ability to achieve success. I meet you where you are and I stand alongside you; I ask you questions which cause you to seek answers within yourself; I help you find and utilize your internal motivation; I help you to identify your strengths and to increase them; I hold you accountable, without judgment, to your commitment to change. I will help you focus to discover your passions, dreams and desires, and to create your Wellness Vision for your Best Self and your Best Life. We will use SMART Goals as we strategize together, to chart your course in a non-judgmental environment. Working together, we will translate your wellness vision into action steps. We will collaborate on strategies, and on your motivation to change, via self discovery.
Most people know what they would like to change, but are not sure how to successfully make that change permanent. And knowing what we ‘should’ do, doesn’t always guarantee success. I believe that the real motivation for someone to change is internal. As your Personal Wellness Coach and advocate, I guide you through the change process, offering you partnership and accountability as well as an awareness of healthy lifestyles and behaviors. As we work together, we can begin to reframe obstacles as challenges.

Reiki pronounced (Ray-Key) comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy-an energy which is all around us, that flows through all living things. Reiki was developed by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, people use Reiki for relaxation, stress reduction and symptom relief, in efforts to improve overall health and well-being.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. You will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a table, fully clothed. I will hold my hands lightly on or over specific areas of the head, limbs, and torso. You may go to sleep, and will almost certainly feel a sense of calm and relaxation. You might even notice a reduction of pain in certain places, or a feeling of emotional lightness.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, Reiki treatment may do the following:
Bring about a peaceful, deep state of relaxation
Dissolve energy blockages and tension
Detoxify the body
Support the well-being of a person receiving traditional medical treatment that are debilitating (e.g., chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, kidney dialysis)
Supply universal life force energy to the body
Stimulate the body’s immune system
Help to relieve pain
Stimulate tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery
Increase the vibrational frequency on physical, mental emotional and spiritual levels
Reiki is used all over the world including hospitals and hospices, helping people become energetically balanced physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
